Our Mission
Grow Krit’s programs across 100 cities in India, providing students with experiential learning opportunities through the organization of student-led community sports initiatives.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Krit is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and vision to drive India’s transformation into a thriving sporting nation.
About Krit Sports
India is at the edge of a sporting revolution. With the 2030 Commonwealth Games coming home and a bold bid for the 2036 Olympics, the nation is gearing up for an era where sports, fitness, and wellness take center stage. But stadiums, events, and talent alone cannot build a great sporting nation it needs doers who can manage, innovate, and lead.
Krit School of Sports Management exists to create those doers. Krit was founded with a singular purpose: to build skilled sports professionals who understand the business, the impact, and the soul of sport. Our programs are designed not just to teach sports management, but to immerse students in it — from managing live tournaments to launching city-based youth leagues, pitching entrepreneurial ideas, and working on real industry projects.
Krit’s vision is powered by three pioneers of India’s sports and education landscape:
Jitendra Joshi — the force behind SportzConsult and Sportz Village, responsible for some of India’s largest grassroots sports initiatives, marketing and sponsorship ecosystems.
Abhijit Dabhade — the architect behind India’s first Sports Management degree program and a leader who has transformed K-12, higher-education, and skilling models across the country.
Pullela Gopichand — badminton legend, one of India’s most respected voices in sport, lending credibility, perspective, and national vision to Krit’s mission.
Together, they bring decades of experience in sports entrepreneurship, education, consulting, and talent development.
Krit Experiential Sports Management Framework
The Krit framework emphasizes on experiential learning to equip students with key concepts, knowledge and essential skills necessary for a successful career in sports management.
The framework incorporates building strong foundation and entrepreneurial mindset transforming a student into a budding professional with strong work-ethic.
Why Krit School of Sports Management Matters
India’s sports industry is growing faster than ever. To sustain this growth, the country needs a new breed of professionals — people who can plan leagues, manage athletes, run events, build sports brands, create policy impact, and drive business outcomes. Krit closes the gap between passion and profession by offering:
- UG Certificate Program in Sports Management
- BBA in Sports Management
- Post Graduate Program in Sports Management & Entrepreneurship
- Master of Sports Management
Each program is built on experiential learning — not theory. Students learn by doing, developing real-world portfolios that prepare them for careers in sports, media, events, technology, fitness, and entrepreneurship from organizing city-based youth games to managing live projects and launching entrepreneurial ideas
Krit bridges the gap between academic learning and industry readiness, empowering a new generation of professionals to shape the future of India’s sports ecosystem.
