Pullela Gopichand
Pullela Gopichand is one of India’s most influential sporting figures, whose vision, discipline, and commitment have transformed badminton in the country. An All England Champion and Dronacharya awardee, he has built a world-class training ecosystem that has produced Olympic medallists and global champions, firmly placing Indian badminton on the international stage. His academy has become a benchmark for excellence, nurturing talent with a deep focus on process, resilience, and high-performance culture.
Beyond medals and accolades, Gopichand’s philosophy is rooted in long-term development. He consistently emphasises that while athletes must pursue excellence, they must also prepare for life beyond sport. Advocating a strong “Plan B”, he encourages young athletes to combine passion with education, skills, and clarity of thought — building not just champions on court, but confident, future-ready individuals off it.

Jitendra “Jitu” Joshi
Jitendra “Jitu” Joshi is a pioneering sports entrepreneur who has helped shape India’s sports participation and marketing ecosystem for over two decades. Through SportzConsult, India’s first experiential sports management company, and Sportz Village, he has driven large-scale grassroots initiatives engaging millions of young Indians in sport.
He played key roles in mass participation movements like Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh and Mumbai Games, initiatives that helped shape the national vision behind Khelo India.
Jitu has worked with 60+ brands including Coca-Cola, Nike, Hero, NBA, Reliance Foundation, and Axis Bank, contributing to properties such as Premier Badminton League, Pro Volleyball League, Jr. NBA India, and Reliance Foundation Youth Sports. He has collaborated with BCCI, AIFF, Hockey India, VFI, and SAI, mentors sports management students, and as Co-founder of Krit School of Sports Management, is building India’s next generation of sports industry leaders.

Abhijit Dabhade
Abhijit Dabhade is an internationally awarded education leader, sports management learning innovator, and skilling expert with over two decades of experience building scalable education and industry–academia ecosystems. As Co-founder of Krit School of Sports Management, he has championed experiential “learning by doing” models that prepare students for the evolving global sports industry.
He has consulted over 15 education and skilling organisations on growth, innovation, and employability, and actively contributes to policy and industry dialogue through platforms such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and the Maharashtra Economic Development Council.
Abhijit was among the early leaders who helped introduce India’s first professional Sports Management degree and has advised the International Olympic Committee–founded sports management program. He also co-founded Wistec Assessments, a skills assessment platform later acquired by a Finnish company, and designed India’s first talent assessment frameworks for sports management.
His innovations across sports management, financial education, and media education have helped shape emerging degree programs aligned with new-age industries, enabling hundreds of students to build meaningful careers.
